Douglas Lake - The TVA manages Douglas Lake; lake levels drop about 30 feet during the late fall and winter months; however, you have lake views year round. During mid to late Spring, and all Summer, you can swim in the lake, fish off the pier (Douglas Lake is famous for its Bass). We keep our boat docked for about 6 months out of the year, but you are welcome to fish from our pier, and you can certainly swim in the lake during the late spring, summer months and early fall. Please note the water levels drop from about November to April of each year - this applies to all homes on Douglas Lake.
